Facilitated by Group Captain Nikhil Verma (Retd.), an Indian Air Force veteran, M.Tech graduate from IIT Kanpur and internationally certified experiential-learning trainer.

90 minutes · In-person campus · 60–100 students · Experiential learning · ADVANCED

Exclusively curated workshops designed for students and young professionals. Going beyond syllabus. Preparing for real life.

The problem

College teaches what to learn. The workplace demands how to show up, communicate, collaborate and lead.

Industry reports keep flagging soft skills — problem-solving, teamwork, critical thinking, communication — as what fresher hiring needs most. Students and young professionals often enter their first role prepared academically, but underprepared for:

  • Making a strong first impression and adapting to workplace culture
  • Communicating clearly with seniors, peers and customers
  • Working effectively with different personalities under pressure
  • Taking initiative and ownership without waiting for instructions
  • Leading and influencing when they have no formal title

THE WORKPLACE EDGE™ — No Title. Now Lead: How do I lead, when I have no Authority? helps students move from knowing what the workplace expects to practising the behaviours that make a difference from day one.

  • Leading without designation and building credibility
  • Decision-making, accountability and taking charge
  • Influencing others and team leadership

For colleges

Your students’ conversion risk is not another motivational talk

Placement cells feel it when students clear written rounds but stumble in GDs, communication, and ownership. CoinsLive runs structured experiential workshops aligned to the soft skills employers demand — with low operational burden on your campus team.

What colleges are losing now

  • Students who clear written rounds but fail GD / communication / ownership in interviews
  • Soft-skills gap that industry prioritises while the syllabus stays domain-heavy
  • Placement-cell reputation when employers signal “academics OK, workplace readiness weak”
  • Ops cost of ad-hoc motivational talks that leave no structured outcomes or feedback

What the college gains

  • Structured, experiential PD aligned to employer soft-skill demand (not another lecture)
  • Low operational burden — CoinsLive runs structure; college provides venue + coordinator
  • Tangible artefacts: feedback summary, photos/recap, follow-up resources for students
  • Pilot path (North Bengaluru) to try without facilitator fee

Workshop deliverables

  • Student participation and feedback summary
  • Workshop photographs and an edited event recap
  • Follow-up professional-development resources for students
  • Option for future workshops customised for the institution

The institution provides:

  • A classroom, seminar hall or auditorium
  • Projector, screen and microphone
  • One faculty coordinator
  • Two student volunteers
  • Local pickup and drop for the mentor
  • Prior approval for photography and video recording, where applicable

Pilot collaboration

Selected colleges in North Bengaluru may be offered initial workshops without a facilitator fee, subject to audience size, date, location and institutional fit.

The college would be responsible for local transportation and on-campus facilities.
